  • This class, led by Dr. Matthew C. Oseto, an orthopedic surgeon and EDS specialist, offers a blend of extensive clinical experience and innovative insight, aimed at enhancing patient outcomes in this challenging population. The comprehensive curriculum delves into both basic and advanced EDS topics, from diagnosis to multidisciplinary care and new therapies. It emphasizes hands on learning with practical demonstrations in diagnostics and treatment, fostering skill and confidence in managing EDS.

  • Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, addressing both the fundamentals and advance aspects of EDS diagnosis, treatment, and management. From diagnostic criteria to multidisciplinary care approaches and emerging therapies, we leave no stone unturned in equipping you with a holistic understanding of this complex condition.

    Our class offers immersive hands-on experiences and demonstrations. You’ll have the opportunity to practice various diagnostic techniques, such as joint hypermobility assessments on actual EDS patients, under the guidance of instructors.

  • Erin Kinneen, PT, MS, DMT, CLT

    Erin became a PT given her love for movement and her strong dislike for barriers from being able to move well without pain. She was a patient first and quickly learned how important manual therapy and spine care are to feeling our best so pursued manual therapy residency, became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, and is currently enrolled in fellowship. She is trained in dry needling, pelvic floor care for men and women, blood flow restriction care, vertigo management, and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She loves to learn and loves to advocate for her clients. Her mission in lifelong learning is to ensure her patients always feel like there are answers and solutions in our clinic for their symptoms. She really values her work with Eastside Connective Strength and helps teach about gait and tools used to help people heal faster at the University of Puget Sound to share her passion for learning. She is also on the Political Action Committee Board for Washington Physical Therapists to best advocate for physical therapist practice concerns in Washington state. When she is not in the clinic or is not actively learning, Erin can be found with loved ones. She is a trail runner, a cross country mountain biker, and a road cyclist. She loves to do gait analysis and bike fits to help her clients outpace her on the trails! She also loves to travel and connect with other entrepreneurs.
